The Magus Hunted pt.7

The Magus Hunted
by KC

Disclaimer: Chrono Trigger and all characters therein belongs to Squaresoft and probably a lot of other people I don't know. But not me. At all. Not one bit.
Summary: One year later, Magus' actions force Frog to leave Guardia and travel with him to the present, where they uncover a plot that may alter the world.
Warnings: Violence. And I mean violence, heads flying and blood running in rivers. Good stuff.
Other Info: Not to scare off any new readers, but this story hasn't been updated in two years. And now it's finally one epilogue away from the end. I swore I'd finish it, dammit!

The Magus Hunted pt. 6

Tournament of Roses Parade was cool! Watched it all the way through. Mickey Mouse was the grand marshall, and boy, y'know yer too much into Kingdom Hearts when you see the mouse and think "OMG the King! Where's Riku and Sora?" And from a purely right-wing standpoint, very nice to see John 3:16, American flags galore, and the horse riders, especially the ladies hearking back to the Mexican Revolution.

Anyway, onto the fic. I posted about half of this previously, but now this has the rest of the chapter with it. Man, it's hard pumping these out when I set the limit on these Chrono Trigger fics to at least 8 pages per upload. Oh, the relationship is now leaning towards LuMa, with a heavy dose of Magus/Frog...well, I can't say friendship, 'cause they don't like each other much, and it's not slash, but it's not hate either. Hm. Magus/Frog antagonism. Yeah, there we go. ^^

The Magus Hunted 5

There's only one thing in the world I'm reading right now that consistently has me on the edge of my seat, is still unpredictable, and despite its derivative nature, is still damn original.

I know I gush a lot about Captain SNES but this truly is the great American novel, in panels.

The Magus Hunted pt. 4

I'm kinda glad Yahoo did that expanded mail box thing. Now I can receive attachments from all my bdsm ML's!

And here, one more chapter of another story. Phew, this one took awhile! :) KC

The Magus Hunted pt. 2

Had to "hide" an entry. You'll be able to tell which one. Apparently el bastarde grande is checking LJ's out of his "moral indignation."

Here's a consolation prize. The Magus Hunted, part 2 )

The Magus Hunted pt.1

(Pre-Story Mandatory VALL gripe: hmm, after mentioning that I got into college under the Texas rule saying the top 10% of high schoolers get into any TX college w/o application, Rae George made sure to mention that she got into college *italicized* on her merits alone. Either this is a cute little slight, or she has unwittingly insulted everyone who entered college under Aff. Action. Considering the conservative nature of the group, I'd bet the tone would definitely include the latter.)

Ah well. To the story.

Now I realize a lot of people don't play old SNES games, but Chrono Trigger must've been one of the best ones, it's got some awesome characters and amazing replay value. Grab an emulator, a ROM, and check it out. The characters are awesome (and done by Toriyama, the DBZ artist!) and it's worth finding all the endings. It's also the game before the Playstation's Chrono Cross. Oh, no yaoi on this one, but a whole ton of violence, which usually makes my day even brighter. Remember, I never get beta'ed, so expect a couple mistakes or so. :) KC

P.S. Did you know that Talk to Me Fiddle is a hell of an erotic song, at least at the very end? "Now your traveling days are over, fiddle, 'cause you belong to me..."
