How about a brief introduction for yourself?
My name is KC Anathema, formerly KC writer. I also go by Goblin Cat on ff.net. I as often piss people off as I entertain them.

Fabulous! And what got you into fanfiction to begin with?
Being bored out of my skull in Germany. I was 13 in a country where the department stores had no cool toys, lived on a tiny base, and had one tv channel. I'm lucky I didn't go mad.

    cut for sheer length )

Tag six friends 'cause they'll hate you for it.
Although I don't usually tag, I'ma tag [info]crabapplered, [info]spacefille, [info]mosellegreen if she feels like it, and you. Yes, you, don't look over your shoulder.

Public pool bars father and son from its 'Muslim-only' swimming session
A father and his five-year-old son were turned away from their local swimming pool because they were the wrong religion. David Toube, 39, and his son Harry were told that the Sunday morning session was reserved for Muslim men only.

Hackney Council, which runs the Clissold Leisure Centre in Stoke Newington, north London, claimed staff there had made a mistake. However, the Muslim-only session was advertised on its website.

Mr Toube joked: "I asked him whether Clissold Leisure Centre would institute Whites Only swimming for racists. His answer was that they would if there was sufficient demand."

He added: "I spoke to a number of Muslim friends, and none of them had heard of a religious prohibition on swimming with non-Muslims. One friend was so disgusted with Hackney for trying to segregate Muslims and non Muslims that he suggested that he take his little daughter swimming with us, just to prove the point."

    Iran's Cyber Dress-Code Crackdown
Remember those shots of Iranian morality police arresting young women who did not "properly" wear their hijab or who showed a little much skin?

Now, authorities have taken their campaign to the next level, targeting online photos of Iranian women. Iran's dress-code crackdown has now gone cyber:

The vast and popular Iranian community in Yahoo is the first target. Members whose profile showed a picture without proper hijab are threatening to be dealt with by authorities. At the same time such members are targeted by unnamed groups who threaten to identify and punish them severely. This has resulted in many young women to delete their profile all together.

I don't normally post gossip, but this seemed interesting.
    Not Her Faith
JASON Beghe isn't the only former Scientologist who wants nothing to do with the church. Nicole Kidman , a Catholic, has limited contact with her adopted kids by Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor, who are deeply entrenched in Scientology. At the New York premiere of Ian Halperin's film, "His Highness Hollywood," a Scientology insider told Halperin that Kidman "wants her kids out of the church." Halperin beat up on the faith in his book, "Hollywood Undercover," and said he wasn't surprised when, during the premiere, "the projector had been sabotaged."
