    After watching Sleepy Hollow so recently, I discovered was led by the hand like a wondering child to a little stash of truly nifty Ichabod/Brom fanfic.

    Slash Hollow

    I freely admit I was unwilling to read the Ichabod/Horseman stories (except Le Revenant, and while good, it's just not my cuppa) but Kadorienne's Ichabod/Brom work is a treasure. I cannot express my sheer joy when I finished the first fic and discovered that most elusive creature, a sequel even better than an already good story.

    I shouldn't have been surprised, though. I've read a lot of her work, especially her Eroica fanfics, and she's one of the few authors that I trusted not only to write a crossover I could stomach, but wrote a crossover I actually liked that I didn't think I would, X-Files with Eroica. And she's one of the few...I lie, she's the only ficcer who's written a crossover that I've read (and recall) that I didn't need to know all the fandoms within said crossover.

    She's good. She should be more widely read.

    I think I've found my counterpart in comics, specifically in the Girl Genius comic. I love Baron Von Wulfenbach and his son Gilgamesh, but really, the Baron has the best damn chick working for him.
