    Time Event
    12:10a
    is it just me?
Is anyone else tired of these drabble things that seem to be the latest fashion for today's harried and homework laden writers? They're barely writing exercises, and I'm tired of going to an ML to see nothing but 100-500 word mini what-ifs. Seriously, what happened to writing (or at least attempting) a long, say 10 page, oneshot, or an epic? A trilogy? A oneshot and a sequel? I'm starting to seriously question how often I visit these mailing lists and message boards when there's nothing but "Christmas Drabble" "100 word drabble" "nothing-better-to-do-so-I-spit-this-out drabble."

If they were parodying the gothic style of fragmented narratives, that might be fun, but nooo...

Shit, story idea. Like I don't have enough on the freakin' platter. >_< KC

Got page 7 done of SNW...getting there...just brought back a character we've only seen in the first chapter...getting a little heavy on the theology...and hopefully I only have a few more pages to go before a brief epilogue and then the two words all writers love and hate. :) KC
